I use it ocassionally but I use ground turkey all the time. I rarely use ground beef. So anything that calls for ground beef I substitute with ground turkey or chicken. That includes burgers, tacos, meatloaf, etc. We like it a lot better because it isn't greasy. But I do find that I often have to add extra spices as it can be rather bland on its own. For burgers I add a little applesauce to help keep them moist.
I use it sometimes for meatballs.
sometimes ground chicken or ground turkey in place of ground beef
I personally can't think of a scenario where I'd want ground chicken instead of my homegrown ground beef, but I realize that's a perk most people don't have. I'd be concerned with what's in the ground chicken and since they don't have to list ingredients it'd be tough to know.
We don't. I use chicken more than anything else, but a few times a month we use 92-96% lean grass fed beef.
I was just wondering but yes have to be careful of the ingredients these days...I am trying to find a place where we can buy half a cow for meat...I have been using ground turkey for awhile..DH is getting leary of eating ground beef from the stores...
