...do you try a new recipe?
I tried a few unusually expensive recipes several months ago and they were also very high in calories (850 to 1200 calories per serving). I could pinch my pennies to afford them occasionally but the calories are just not realistic for everyday meal planning.
I try to use at least one new recipe weekly. This week I've been so busy I haven't been able to though. :(
I probably average 2 or 3 a month.
I try to throw one in 2-3 times a month.
Usually 2-3 a week. I like a lot of variety, but there are weeks when I'll test a lot of new recipes, and weeks when I'll cook mainly old favorites.
