I've planned to have this tonight but I'm looking for a new way to make it. How do you make yours?

1 mom liked this

baked, usually with butter & brown sugar...although I've browned pork sausage and added sauteed cinnamon apples then filled the cavity with those before baking.

I have had it with the sausage like Rhonda stated but never made it

I've done both of these, and they're good, but just looking for something a little different.

I'd like to see some ideas too.  I haven't tried Rhonda's suggestion with the sausage.

Soup?

I ended up baking it with butter and peach preserves. We liked it. I think next time I'll try using orange marmalade.

I usually use it as a dessert. Simply based with cinnamon and sugar.

Like a dessert or a casserole-type thing?
