Apple Crunch Cake
2 cans apple pie filling
1 18 1/2 oz yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
2 sticks butter (1 cup), melted
Preheat oven to 375. Pour pie filling into a greased 9x12 baking dish. Gently pour dry cake mix over top. Drizzle butter over top. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
I'm going to pass this along to my mom, thanks! It's so easy that she could make it even though she can't see.
I've used this recipe in a class for adults with varying disabilities. It worked great because they didn't have to measure anything, which can sometimes create problems for them.
