December 30, 2012 – January 5, 2013


breakfast – cottage cheese & fruit parfaits, veggie juice

lunch – broccoli & ham chowder, grain-free cinnamon muffins

dinner - meatloaf, baked potatoes, green beans


breakfast – sausage & eggs on biscuits, veggie juice

lunch – taco soup

dinner - New Year's Eve: chicken wings, BBQ lil smokies, veggies & spinach dip, artichoke dip, sweet potato balls, fruit tray, last of Yule log

Tuesday: Happy New Year!!!!!!

breakfast – omelets & waffle hash browns, veggie juice

lunch – cheesy beef & tomato sauce over spaghetti squash

dinner - BBQ beef roast, potatoes, carrots


breakfast – hard boiled eggs, oranges

lunch – burger gravy over grain-free biscuits, carrot salad

dinner - chicken gumbo, salad


breakfast – carrot cake pancakes, veggie juice

lunch – grain free baked corn dogs, side salad

dinner - shredded BBQ beef roast pot pie, veggie salad


breakfast – veggie hash, poached eggs, veggie juice

lunch – creamed tuna and peas over grain-free biscuits, carrot sticks

dinner - primal chicken strips, oven fries, veggie sticks & dip


breakfast – omelets & veggie juice

lunch – leftovers/clean out the fridge

dinner – homemade pizza

Saturday- Creamed chipped beef on biscuits, oj
                  Clam chowder, cucumber slices
                  Escaped Cabbage Rolls, corn pudding, garlic rolls

Sunday-Red Velvet Pancakes, ham, oj
              Macaroni salad with bacon & peas, pears
              Shrimp scampi over linguini, salad with artichoke hearts, olives, tomatoes, etc.

Monday-Turkey & Havarti cheese quiche, strawberries
               Hot ham & Swiss sliders, carrot-raisin salad
               Going to a party. I'm taking crab & artichoke dip

Tuesday-Donuts and pumpkin lattes
               Fresh ham (roast pork leg), black eyed peas with ham hocks, macaroni & cheese, collard greens, potato salad, cornbread, carrot cake, sweet potato pie

Wednesday-Pumpkin pancakes with white chocolate chips & pecans, bacon
                Chicken fried rice, apple-walnut salad

Thursday-Grapefruit halves, green eggs & ham
                 Cornbread salad
                 Turkey legs in the crockpot with potatoes, carrots, celery & peas

Friday-Mushroom & Swiss omelets, Pumpkin-cream cheese muffins
                 Artichoke & chicken pasta salad, broccoli cornbread
                 Grilled fish, cole slaw, sweet potato wedges, hushpuppies

freezer stash 

all week other than New years meal , Everyone have a safe and Very Happy New Year!

I wish I had a freezer stash! "Sandy" did a number on us, &  with Christmas bills needing to be paid, it'sbeen tough rebuilding that stash.  So thisdinner plan is from what I've got left in the fridge &  freezer (leftover ham, 3 chicken breasts, 1lb ground beef, 4 tilapia filets, hambone, plus frozen veggies, half a bag of brown rice,bag of kidney beans, box of frozen pierogies, some onions, carrots & 3 potatoes). Thank goodness we have party invites for today & Monday.

Sunday: Ham, broccoli & potato chowder (I don't have broth & want to save the bone for another night, so I'm hoping it's tasty enough just cooked in water).

Monday: New Year's Eve party at brother's  - we'll eat there!

Tuesday: chicken, brown rice, & cauliflower casserole

Wednesday: hamburger goulash

Thursday: Tilapia, pirogies & brussel sprouts

Friday: hambone & bean soup

Then I need to shop!

Saturday- steak taco bowls
Sunday- bourbon chicken over rice and green beans
Monday- party food! Little weenies in blankets, queso dip, buffalo wings, celery
Tuesday- pork tenderloin in crockpot, cabbage, black eyed peas
Wednesday- spaghetti and salad
Thursday- homemade pizza and cucumber slices with ranch
Friday- eat out!

Wed-veggie stirfry

Thurs-Ham casserole and a salad

Friday-homemade pizza

. Supper turnkey patties , black eye peas , corn and beans , cornbread
. Wednesday breakfast Do your own thing
. Lunch leftovers
. Supper open face meatloaf sandwiches, brown rice , leftover veggies
. Thursday breakfast Do your own thing
. Lunch tv dinner
. Supper hot dogs , chips
. Friday . Breakfast hard boiled eggs , toast
. Lunch tv dinner
. Supper hamburgers , sweet potatoes fries
