Do you know how to cut up a whole chicken into parts?

 Yes. You can save a lot of money doing it. There are videos showing how.

 There are different ways of doing it. If you're cutting it up in a way that you can use, then that's  the proper way. IMHO

No. I have never done it. If we need one cut up, my husband does it.

Yes.  We process our own 100+ chickens every summer and less than 20% of them are left whole.  I learned from a butcher how to cut apart a whole chicken, and that's my job when it comes to processing our own chickens.
