I have a crockpot recipe I was going to make today but my brisket is still frozen in the middle. Would it turn out OK to cook it now or should I wait until it's totally thawed?
Update~ Thanks ya'll! I had no idea that people cooked frozen meat. This is fantastic news!!! Thanks for all the advice, our dinner turned out great :)

Works just fine to cook it partially thawed or even completely frozen! You may want to add to the cook time, though, or else cook on high for a couple of hours then turn to low.
Me too. And it gives me a little extra needed cooking time, since I work full time.
Quoting lillucky8:
I toss things in totally frozen, i never remember to defrost.
I throw frozen roasts and meat in the crock all the time. I never defrost. Always turns out fine.
I use frozen meat all the time, but wouldn't want to put it in frozen after about 10am. It needs to cook just a little longer.
up the cooking time a bit.
