We are trying to pay off some bills so I am cutting back everywhere I possibly can. I set a goal of being under $100 in groceries for the next 2 weeks and I did it! I came in at $90.91. And this is with having almost no stockpile as that's what we ate off for the last 2 weeks.

Here is my menu plan...I have 3 dzn eggs, various spices, 2 lbs ground beef, 2 chicken leg quarters, and 2lbs boneless chicken breast, home canned green beans and diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce/paste, and oatmeal otherwise I bought all ingredients to make the meals.  All breads, rolls, pizza dough, waffles, pancakes, tortillas, birthday cake & frosting, hash browns, and BBQ are homemade.

Monday 1-27

            Breakfast- Oatmeal

            Lunch- Leftovers

            Dinner- Spaghetti with meatballs, green beans, garlic bread

Tuesday 1-28

            Breakfast- yogurt and toast

            Lunch- leftover noodles with green beans and garlic tossed with olive oil

            Dinner- Chicken quesadillas, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and Mexican rice.

Wednesday 1-29

            Breakfast- scrambled eggs and toast

            Lunch- English muffin pizzas, frozen peas, peaches

            Dinner- Crock pot ham, mustard/brown sugar dipping sauce, au gratin potatoes, broccoli, rolls

Thursday 1-30

            Breakfast- scrambled eggs with ham and onion, cheddar

            Lunch- Peanut butter & jelly, carrots           

           Dinner- Homemade macaroni and cheese with ham, peas

Friday 2-1

            Breakfast- homemade waffles, peaches, pecans, syrup

            Lunch- Chicken roll-ups, homemade potato chips

            Dinner- Homemade pizza and cheesey bread sticks (pepperoni, ham pineapple, onion)

            Dessert- Chocolate birthday cake

Saturday 2-2

            Breakfast- Yogurt and toast

            Lunch- leftover pizza

            Dinner- Ham, onion, broccoli, and cheese omelets, homemade hash browns, and toast

Sunday 2-3

            Breakfast- quiche ham & cheese

            Lunch-  FYO

            Dinner- Super Bowl party @ Grandma's

Monday 2-4

            Breakfast- waffles            

           Lunch- Noodles, peas, parmesan, olive oil

            Dinner- Whole roasted Chicken, roasted potatoes, carrots, onions, green beans

Tuesday 2-5

            Breakfast- Oatmeal

            Lunch- English muffin pizzas, canned fruit

            Dinner- Leftover chicken, spinach, and noodles in white cream/garlic sauce 

Wednesday 2-6      

            Breakfast- scrambled eggs and toast

            Lunch- leftovers

            Dinner- Pecan crusted chicken tenders, homemade fries, mixed veggies

Thursday 2-7

            Breakfast- Waffles           

            Lunch- peanut butter apple roll-up, leftover veggies

            Dinner- Baked potatoes with broccoli, cheese 

Friday 2-8

            Breakfast- yogurt and toast

            Lunch-

            Dinner- BBQ chicken sandwiches, roasted ranch potatoes, green beans

Saturday 2-9

            Breakfast- Oatmeal

            Lunch- leftovers

            Dinner- Chicken piccata, noodles, broccoli, rolls  

Sunday 2-10

            Breakfast- Pancakes

            Lunch- FYO

            Dinner- Meatloaf, mashed potatoes/gravy, peas, rolls

Monday 2-11

            Breakfast- scrambled eggs, toast

            Lunch- leftovers

            Dinner- Chicken leg quarters, rice, green beans

 What a great menu you came up with!  I feel lost on those weeks I don't take the time to plan a menu.

 I try to keep our total under $100 but never seem to be able to.  It seems like food prices keep going up.

I used your menu plan as a guideline and my total was $140. I usually average $100 a week so I saved $60.

Glad you got some ideas and saved a little! These are a couple of extrem weeks for us, I usually spend closer to $120/$130 on just groceries.
