Depends on what it is.  Sometimes I intentially make a lot of extra to last most of the week for lunches for my hubby and I. Most of the time though it is just a day or two. Unfortunately, sometimes none at all.

We usually have leftovers for lunches.  Only once or twice this spring/summer have we had leftovers for dinner.

About once a week, sometimes more if I make a big meal.

We rarely have leftovers. We try to cook only enough for us for one night.

Well I don't consider it "leftovers" I cook the meat or fish I want for at about 3-4 days worth at once and then put it in ziploc gallon size baggies and it's ready for me to just heat it up for myself in minutes with a low carb veggie and I tend to eat simple basic foods and similar foods when it's just me thru most of the week.

When the  5 kids were growing up and we had recipe like dinners different each night.. sometimes they would eat leftovers for lunch and we rarely had leftovers for dinner because they ate everything lol (they often had friends over too) so even after a HUGE holiday dinner feast buffet even then leftovers would never last more than a couple of days.
