Meal Planning Meal Planning

Do you know of any cookbooks with LOTS of pictures and simple ingredients?

My kids rotate chore zones on Monday. Yesterday I asked them if they would like to plan and cook a meal (with my help) once per week during their kitchen chore zone week. They were stoked, yes they want to. So yesterday one was trying to find something...and I realized I need to get some cookbooks with lots of pictures. (Pinterest is hard to navigate for kids)

Any suggestions?

Have you been to the library to check out their cookbook selection? You might find one there that you like enough to buy from Amazon/your favorite book retailer.

Good suggestion. I'll have to try that.

Hmmm I would look on amazon or like an online booksotre and see if they have any kid cookbooks! Grab titles from there and then look for them used on ebay or amazon :)

It is a fantastic book that has a lot of info on food, technique, and simple recipes. I think it should be the first cookbook anyone ever owns. :)
