I have read good things about eating just plain unsweetened oatmeal three times a day and I have been trying to do it twice a day and eat chicken/veggies for my dinner and have noticed my clothes feeling bigger on me as of the last two week so far on it.......

Anyone else have tried this method?

Never heard of it. I am not the biggest fan of out meal so it would never work for me, but good luck.

I haven't tried it. I have oatmeal for breakfast but that's because of my high BP. But I do know that oatmeal is very low in cals so i'm worried that you're losing weight because you're eating too few calories? How many calories have you been eating a day?

Yes, instant regular unsweetened oatmeal is only 100 calories per packet and healthy for you. I like to have it every morning with sliced bananas on top to add some sweetness to it and a sprinkle of flaxseed mixed in it. Sometimes I will have it for dinner also. So far the pant sizes have been dropping down and I feel so much better health wise. It does seem to be working and I was never a big oatmeal fan before but I tried it and stuck with it and now I love it!! Its so much better to have a nice HOT breakfast every morning and so easy to make too!!

i think i could do it for about 2 days then i would go nuts... and i am a person who will eat the same breakfast and lunch m-f.

I also don't see how you could possibly get enough vitamins and minerals.

I personally just signed up for myfitnesspal.  it is free, and i have lost 2 pounds this week.  that is way better than what i did with weight watchers.
