I wasn't sure where to put this, but I figured it would be ok here...
I had my first baby almost 10 months ago. I had a 2nd degree tear that had to be stitched up. DH and I waited 7 weeks to have sex. It hurt like hell, but I was told it would so I didn't think anything of it. My post partum visit was at 9 weeks (due to my crazy schedule not lining up with my OB's) She told me I was still healing and should wait one more week to have sex. So I did. But it still hurt like crazy.
Well that pain got a little better but then after a couple of months it came back. Every time it feels like I am being ripped apart and acid being poured on open wounds inside me. Then when dh gets about half way in my body starts spasming and pushing him out. That makes the entire area hurt even worse. We have used different kinds of lube and foreplay, but nothing helps. I know I should go see a Dr. but we don't have insurance and don't really have the money to just pay for it out of pocket. I cry every time because of the pain and because of the emotional part of not being able to be intimate with my husband. He tries so hard to be patient and supportive, but I know this is really hard for him too. Anyone have any ideas what this could be or what can help?
Wow, that really sucks. When I didn't have insurance, I went to Planned Parenthood. I know this isn't a birth control issue, but they could still do an exam to see if you have any tissue damage that hasn't repaired itself. They performed my treatment when I had abnormal cervical cells, so they do do more than prescribe pills and give out condoms. Good luck, keep us posted!

Thanks for the responses ladies. I have thought about going to Planned parenthood. I used to go there for all my exams. But one time I went in for a problem I was having and the dr. kept trying to get me to pay $100 for a herpes test, mostly because she didn't know what it was. I kept telling her it wasn't possible for it to be herpes. So FINALLY she called another dr for a second opinion and they told her it was just an infection. So anyway, I just have a hard time trusting them now.
Wow, that is scary, maybe I will ask my mom if I can borrow money then and go see a dr. I don't want to go through all that! And I sure don't want this to be permanent!!!
You can also try a local healthcare clinic. I used to work at an abortion clinic that was not PP. I know there are tons in various areas.

My hospital has a Women's Clinic, which I use as my OB/Gyn. Through the hospital, they offer financial assistance for those w/o health insurance, which is how I came to use them. Check with your hospital!
Only a doctor can answer your question. (((((((Hugs))))))
