Summer Homework

I have 2 kids who don't struggle in school so for a couple of summers it was HANDS OFF for schoolwork.   My other son though would show he was a grade level behind when he got back to school, like he lost THAT much in 7-8 weeks.

So I started putting some work into summer homework.  Last year trying to get stuff printed each day was a bit of a bother!   But I can say that my son who "struggles" in school went into school at the same levels he had left the grade before!

Any great ideas to keep minds challenged during the summer?

thanks,

Marian
