New Year, New Mom Challenge Day 3: Make Time for Your SO
When you're a busy mom, it's hard to find a minute to go to the bathroom in peace, much less find time to spend alone with your SO. But making the time helps keep you happy -- which helps keep everyone happy! Also, it's great for your kids to see you model a healthy relationship. So what are you waiting for?
- Plan "date nights." Even if it’s just chatting at the kitchen table after the kids go to bed.
- Do kind things for him. Leave a little note on his nightstand, send him a flirty text, make his favorite meal, thank him when he does something helpful, and let him know you appreciate him.
- Book a sitter and go out!
- Squeeze in a quickie! ;)
Bonus: SO may take a hint and start doing sweet little things for you! Score!
If you're not attached, take some time for YOU! Go for a walk, read a book, or take yourself out for a treat!
How do you make time for your SO? Has your SO done anything sweet and thoughtful for you recently? Tell us in the replies!
