My hubby got off work at 8. I asked him to bring some desert for us and the kids. He came home for 5 minutes and left to go to my moms to hang out. He said he was just going to get dinner and he'd be home soon. Well its now 11 and he's not home. I let the kids stay up until 9:30 waiting on dessert. My son could care less, he's only 17 months, but my daughter and I were really looking forward to dessert. I knew I should have just gotten up and gone to get something, but he's usually so good.
Update: He got home at 12:30 and passed out on the couch. UGH! Tomorrow should be loads of fun, I already know I am going to be cranky and not tolerable! He didn't even bring me dessert! I'm not happy with him right now :( He can stay on the couch for the night!
Bummer, I love dessert. Do you think everything is okay with him? It sounds like this is unusual for him. Did he maybe have a bad day at work and is talking it out or something?

I haven't talked to him yet. It's normal that he goes there to hang out, but he usually offers to bring a kid with him, or take care of whatever I need here before he goes, and they go to bed somewhat early, so he is usually home by 11!

He's cranky. I made dinner, but it was just pizza and since he is a delivery driver, he wasn't in the mood for pizza. He went for chili. My mom always does this! She steals all of our time every weekend :(
