always make time to date each other. even if it's staying in and having a candlelit, indoor picnic after the kids go to bed.

when you're parting ways and leaving each other's presence, always, always say 'I love you', even if you're angry.

always make it a goal to help your spouse's day go a little easier. even if it's just one little gesture of kindness a day.

Never take each other for granted!  There is a lot of power in please, thank you, and true appreciation of what you have in your partner.
