Does anyone else have this problem?

Posted by   + Show Post

so i've been with DF for almost 4 years. a couple years ago, i started waking up with random sore spots. then one night i couldn't sleep, and then DF hit me in his sleep! it doesn't happen too often, but this week he hit me twice on the head. so i was just wondering, does anyone deal with this kind of thing?

YES AND YES! Ive been doing it to him, and he refuses to restrain me or wake me up so he just takes it. I would suggest him get a sleep study done..but i didnt start this until i divorced my abusive ex dh and so hubby thinks that im getting out all my bent up frusteration from all those times in the past.

I feel horrible and seriously am sound asleep when i punch him and kick him, so its to the point now where he wont tell me why he has a busted lip or a bruise on his arm when he does i cry cause its not me at all.

hes hoping i get it all out cause ive never done this in the past, if not then im going to have to have a sleep study done, i know this is called something..some type of sleepwalking thing, just forgot the name of it.

last night was the worst so far. he hit me really close to my temple on the side of my head. left a lil bump for a while too. but it's fine now..

it's not usually just kicking or bumping when we move either. im a pretty light sleeper since i had my DS. so now i wake up as soon as i realize i'm being punched. i'm lucky i'm usually facing the other direction, i woulda had a black eye, probably a broken nose too. lol.

he must feel horrible, i know if my dh did that he would hate himself forever for even slightly hurting me. I would suggest talking with a doc who could refer him to a sleep study..or have other suggestions..than let me know :)

yeah my dh hit me once or twice in his sleep and held me down once when the baby was coughing. it was like he was trying to get to her but had his hands on my shoulder and i had to remove him. he didn't remember.

My husband does that sometimes. He always yells at me & calls me hurtful things. We spoke with his doctor about it & he said it's an anxiety thing. Your husband is probably just dreaming or something, try making space between you or something.

Dumbdumb as I like to call him slapped me in the face becase I had to crawl over him to get into bed, he was sleeping and felt terrible, but it still hurt! He uses his knees a lot too, so I get thigh/back bruises. He sleeps like a dog, all twitchy and crazy.
