Of course ur not going to get over someone in a week & if u never give it more time than that u don't really know if u can move forward just seems like an excuse. It's silly that u think it's better for u not to have any friends just because he has issues. You both really need help.

 Don't feed into his crap. My husband has always been really jealous and I would just stop doing whatever it was that made him feel insecure. I finally had to tell him to kick rocks. He is a grown man and needs to learn how to deal with those insecurities or you can choose to live like a prisoner.
