DH and I had a dried apple spiced cake w/ almond liquer flavored, butter cream filling. The cake was covered in white fondant (it was a hot day, and the butter cream would have melted off the cake). My grandmother and mother made my wedding cake, and it was my grandmother's recipie. Everyone told me later that it was the best cake they had ever eaten.
