Were you born in the 70's? If you can Add a picture of something you remember from the 70's?

Quoting jgattis:
Well, I don't have pics of any of this stuff but, I'm a 70's baby....
Remember....
The Ford Pinto disasters
Tube socks with the colored bands up to our knees
Shag carpeting
Shag carpet in a full size van (even on the "ceiling")
*Real* pinball arcades
Silver Christmas trees with the tri-color light wheel
Chevrolet Vega
Datsun
Candy Cigarettes
Cigarette ads
Fotomats
McDonald's didn't have a kid's meal (Happy Meal debuted 1979...without a toy...came with cookies)
Zenith console TV's
Oh, the list is endless.....
Yep....Yep ....yep to all...I also remember going to the laundry mat and buying a bottle of strawberry soda in a glass bottle...had to pop off the cap to drink it. Also remember playing ball and jacks on the small porch of my sister's trailer which looked like a long silver capsule...
Also remember watching Gilligan's Island, F Troop, and the Sonny and Cher show...
I also remember playing barbies with a friend, on the radio I remember laughing to the lyrics of "Convoy"....I also remember the drive in movie and being able to play on the swing set below the screen...and I remember watching Bugs Bunny on the screen before the movie started.
My sister's neighbor had a big fat ceramic bullfrog that I absolutely adored and I was able to "play" with it in front of them...and then of course she had a Buddha too. I loved that lil guy so much I had to buy one of my own.
The Hardy Boys mysteries with Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson...my favorite show as I started noticing boys more...oh yeah those were good times *S*

I loved these! I remember wanting a pair of my own and I couldn't wait to grow up so I could have them. They felt so buttery soft even though they were hard bottomed. *S*
