....what to get my husband for our 8th wedding anniversary!! I want to get him something meaningful, but not sit on a shelf and collect dust. He doesn't wear jewelry often. He has a motorcycle, but I don't want to get him something that will break down. Maybe a new helmet??

A helmet sounds good! Maybe something from things to remember? They have a ton of different things you could have then an grave something. I'm not good at this kind of stuff either. Good luck!

I like this, or maybe get yourself super sexy lingerie and surprise him with it that night! Good luck!

Does he have motorcycle bell? There's a whole legend about them.

If you want to get technical, the 8th anniversary gift is traditionally bronze or pottery.  Both kinda fit under that "sit on a shelf an collect dust" category!
