Does it have to be dinner?

I got a text from my dh, his boss told him to take me out to dinner this weekend on the company tab.  I asked him if we could go out for breakfast instead.

Have you ever gone out for breakfast with your dh?  MacDonald's doesn't count lol.  I think spending mornings together is just as romantic as spending the evening together.  What do you think?

Yea, for our anniversary "dinner" we went to breakfast together then to an early movie.  DD was in school so it was either have breakfast together, alone..  or go to dinner as the whole family.  I wanted a date, not a family night LOL.

I agree with you, romantic doesn't just have to be dinner.  My husband and I love in the mornings to go to some place like Shari's or Marie Calendar's for breakfast and just enjoy ourselves.  Ther is nothing wrong with that one.  Just being able to sit and talk over a cup of coffee is amazing!
