Do you know anything about guns? Maybe have him take you target shooting. How old are your kids? My dad is very into guns, when we were kids we aLl learned the basics of gun safety, and even tho i never got into it, it can be something the family can do together. :)

Start planning things. You don't have to start big. Try watching one half hour tv show together after the kids go to bed. Sit next to each other and be in physical contact the whole time. Talk about the show together during commercial breaks. Have a snack and a glass of wine. It's not exactly *quality* time, but it is time for just the two of you, and the more you do take time for each other, the easier it'll be to plan something more time consuming & bonding like cooking together and having a candlelit dinner after the kids are in bed, and sharing in meaningful conversation.

I would ask and plan a family day.

Ask. Plan activities. If all else fails, do so much stuff without him that he starts wanting to spend time with you. Nothing gets a mans attention like not being needed.
