Waldo Canyon Fire

We live a couple of hours away from this area but please send your thoughts, prayers, good juju, what have you this way! Google Waldo Canyon Fire for more info. Its just horrific and sad.

I'm already praying. 

I have two cousins who are in danger from these fires.  One has been evacuated due to the Waldo Canyon fire.  The other is in Woodland Park, and is separated from that fire by the big highway.  She's getting ready to evacuate since there's no guarantee the highway will stop the fire (most likely not).

The pictures are terrifying and extremely sad.  And I keep thinking of the wildlife trapped, killed, or misplaced because of these fires.

I have lots of friends over in Woodland Park and Colo Springs. Its pouring rain here and I really hope these rain clouds make it that way. So devastating. I guess Obama is coming to the Springs on Friday to tour the fire. That That just seems so far away for a fire that has burned almost 16,000 acres since the 23rd.

It looks like it's completely overcast constantly here, just west of Denver, only it's all smoke from every direction.  It's eerie!
