im so excited!
my bf was talking to me yesterday about getting married sooner rather than later. (we have a daughter together and i have a son from a previous relationship) we were gonna wait til we can afford a big wedding cause we both have big families but he said he wants to get married soon like febuaryish and have a small wedding with just immediate family, i was kinda hesitant at first cause i want a big wedding but it will take forever to save up for one.
he said well talk more about setting a date after i get a job (im about to be a licensed massage therapist) and im getting my engagment ring in the next few weeks cause he wants it to be somewhat of a surprise lol im excited! i cant tell anyone yet cause were not officially "engaged" so im telling yall :)
**edit** so i know this sounds really weird and i didnt want to do it this way buuutt i found a ring i wanted at target online and i set it as the homepage on my computer so bf would remember to order it lol but when i got on yesterday it was out of stock and not sold in stores soooo i found a new one on hsn and it was pretty but it said almost gone so i set that as the homepage and when bf got off from work and i showed it to him but this time it said only 2 left!!! i love this ring and he could tell cause i smiling from ear to ear! so he handed me his card and said order it....i wanted him to do it as a secret and then propose the real way but i love this ring and glad i ordered it lol so i know its coming and ill know when it gets here lol
the ring is a cz princess cut with smaller czs going all the way around in sterling silver, its pretty :) and it was only 34.95! it was retailed at 85! (i told him i would rather him get me a less expensive engagment ring so he can get me a better wedding ring
he proposed! the ring came in and i wasnt allowed to open the package until he got off work and i met him at the back door when he pulled up and he opened it and put it on there in the laundry room haha i love my ring :) were working on telling everyone now lol
and i thought a lot about i and im happy were having a small wedding, yeah i want my dream wedding but theres so much stuff were trying to do too, like we both want to get new cars and we found a boat we wanna get and were buying a new couch as soon as i get a job, and if we spent all of our money on a wedding then we wouldnt be able to do the things we want. so im happy with our decision :)
