Y doesn't this man wanna marry Me already??

Iam 22 and my boyfriend is 24, we have been together for 5 straight years and have 2 wounderful blessings together. We have been talking about taking it to the next level for the past year now. But he hasn't made an effort to even propose to me. Every day he tells me that he loves me and that he can't ever picture his life without me. Our love is still as strong as the first day, but when i ask him why haven't he made any effort to get married he say well we haven't had the money for a ring or a wedding yet. I've told him we can get married through the court and save up for a big wedding later. He will agree to go to the courthouse with me to get our marriage licence but he never seems to stick with his word. I need some advice.... should i believe that he really wants to marry me or should i give all hopes up ?

im going thru the same thing my df is scared we both come from homes where our parents were married three times his sister is divorced three times and i have been married twice before so hes a lil scared that once we are married everything is gonna change but i did finally get a ring atleast

My aunt and her dh were together for 8yrs before they got engaged. My aunt was ready after 18months he wasn't. But my aunt knew he was the right one and waited for him to be ready. They just celebrated their 18yr wedding anniversary on June 4th.

He sounds like he's just not ready yet. He is telling you he does want to spend the rest of his life with you so you do know how he feels.

Yea thats what i want  from him. I dont want a million dollar ring all i want is to be his Mrs. Evans. I don't care how cheap the ring is as long as its given with love.
