My mom and bio dad were already split up by the time I was 2 so I do not remember anything about that relationship. My mom kinda passed me around to everyone for several years , I guess she did not want to be a mom yet ? So I did not get much influence from her. It was my Aunt and  Uncle that I learned what a healthy loving marriage looks like . It was also my aunt that I learned what kind of mother I wanted to be.

I would say I learned how to be a good wife on my own. I didn't have any real example. Maybe at most my Aunt Lori. Learning to be a good mother I learned what not to do from my mom, namely I show my kids affection and praise them.

i guess my mom would be my biggest influence.  however, a lot of the way i live my life as a mom and wife have been based on how i wouldn't be when i got married/became a parent.

.....my caps lock and shift do not work on lap top.... therefore no caps, smilies or certain punctuation that requires the shift.... smiles...

I did not have a role model I am learning this on my own. The one thing that I can say is she never tought me to be a good wife or mom but she did teach me what a bad wife and mom are like and that has stuck with me my whole life of NEVER wanting to be like her!

I hope I explained it correctly , I think I did . I do indeed mean who was your biggest influence growing up regarding the mother and wife role.

I've been raising my brothers since I was 8, so the mom part came easy. The wife part...sadly my husband.
