I taught myself. I didn't have a very good role model. My mom was hyper-critical of my dad and loved/loves drama.  I tried to figure out if I was a man what kind of wife would I want and have tried to be that kind of wifey. Hubby says he's a lucky dog, so I must be doing a decent job.

My parents. Neither were really good spouses to each other so I learned from their mistakes.

the 'mom' part from raising my brothers & sister, sadly, the 'wife' part from my first husband.  He taught me to serve, hate myself and think I was a terrible, ugly person who didn't deserve life.  Second DH is helping me get over that...  hard to break a habit 33 years old...

I learned how to be a mom from my grandmother really.  She raised me.  But being a wife I kind of had to learn on my own.
