Yeah my father-in-law used to be. He finally crossed even dh's line and verbally attacked me one too many times for no reason. Dh told him if he had the gas money he'd drive to Missouri just to punch him the face.

Nope, the only people that can be a threat to my relationship are me and my SO. No one else. We are the only 2 people in this relationship, we make it or break it, we make it good or bad, we threaten it's stability or not........No one else can do those things.

Used to. But after she met me (dh old friend) she told dh she "couldn't see him anymore because seeing us together hurt her so much because she is so in love with him". She called him right after she left our house. She hung out for over 4 hrs and had no issues. Dh told her to never call again, and she hasn't!

Step-MIL used to be somewhat, until she did something extra double shitty and DH knew it was her.  That opened his eyes and now we are a united front when dealing with her.
