If you value yourself, if you value your self esteem, your self worth and your intelligence, DON'T get married to anyone who asks. Don't get married because you're in Nevada and your cousin got married there. Don't get married because you're bored, drunk, stoned, pregnant, stupid....
Don't marry or get engaged to a guy who doesn't want to help you...if he doesn't want to help you now, he definitely won't when he's saddled with the responsibility of a house, family and children.
Don't marry a guy or get engaged to a guy who willingly puts his family over you...he'll do the same when you're married and probably moreso.
If you think he's a mommy's boy now...wait until you're married and don't do things the way she did. Nothing you do will be good enough and you'll end up resenting him.
Take the time to find someone you are worthy of. Date the dude for longer than 4 months before you fuck him, get married, move in and play house.
