We dated a year before we got engaged and were engaged for 2 1/2 years before we got married. During the time we were engaged we bought a house so that pushed back our wedding date. It was worth the wait though. Our wedding was perfect. :)

 We spent 4 days together (10/5, 10/11, 10/12 and 10/13) together (his controlled and uncontrolled liberty, he was in Navy bootcamp which is where we first saw each other though we didn't talk until I got out of bootcamp when I decided that the Navy wasn't for me) and then on 10/20 I joined him in TN and we decided that day to get married and we got married on 10/22.
