Have you ever slept in different rooms after an argument?

No!!

When I was with my ex and we'd fight one of us would go to the couch but eventually he'd come to where ever I was sleeping and attack me. After 11 year of being away from him and 9 years of being with my now DH I still have issues. DH knows this so he knows not to try to sleep anywhere but our bed even after the biggest argument we've ever had. He even gets up to the bathroom in the middle of the night and I'm fully awake, waiting. DH has never lifted a hand to me or threatened to but I guess that's what happens when PTSD goes untreated!

No way, rule in our house is that we never go to bed angry with eachother, even if we are hurt or upset about something, in the end sleeping separately does nothing but encourage negative feelings/emotions.
