We gave them something to show that we appreciate all that they do, it was some Easter price candy and a small scented candle.

The kid was like 6 for crying out loud. I know things upset me pretty easily when I was 6 to, and I had no rude awakenings when I realized that life wasn't always fair because I had gotten older and just realized that was the way life was sometimes. A 6-year-old child shouldn't have to find out life isn't always fair. That is still way to young to discover that fact.

Last year I got her a Keurig and the year before she got about $200 worth of small kitchen appliances. I haven't shopped for this year yet. LOL

By the way my child is homeschooled. ;)

When he went to PS though we would make a stocking stating the grade/year and I would use puff paint to put the first name and last initial of every child in the class on it. Then we would fill it with little random things and a note from my son. :)
