I thought something was up when he out of the blue planned a day trip to one of our favorite parks in the Rockies. We had been there numerous times on small day trips just to get out of the house and do a little hiking, have a picnic, etc. Usually it was always an impromtu trip or something I would ask to do but one week he just kept saying over and over "lets go to the park this weekend". I'm thinking "okay awesome, it's been awhile, lets do it". Sure enough, a few minutes after we get to our favorite picnic spot next to a stream he pops the question. I bawled like a baby. It was priceless.

He would always ask about what I like in a ring when we would pass by a jewelry store and the day he proposed he took my promise ring off my hand without explaining why.
He was very nervous. Lol
It was all very obvious looking back.
