Mine is in the oilfield and is an Operator/Rig Manager on a Workover Rig.
Also works as a heavy equipment mechanic
He is a field machinist. lol He says manual would be closest. While your dh is usually in a shop or on a comp, mine is in the field. He says it has to do with his specific company. He is 34. :-)

Dh mostly does manual. He is 33 but he has been doing this since he was 18. It's hard on his body but he loves what he does and he makes pretty good money at it too. :)
