A pink carnation on Valentines day 1984.  We were seniors in high school had beed dating a few months and they were selling them at school..  I still have the heart shaped paper card he signed....

Yes it was our first valentines day and he got me red roses.

I was asleep after work and he worked 2nd shift at the time. He came to my place and put 1 red rose in an empty beer bottle. I didn't own a vase and I thought it was sweet lol.
