ladies do you DH help out with the kid(s)?

With my first the DH did not help me at ALL, he probably changed a diaper once. Now with my almost three month son he does a lot. On his days off he pretty much takes care of baby by himselve and if he works as soon as he gets home he tries to help me. He is a BIG HELP wish he had done this with our first.

Yes, of course he does. He doesn't "help" me. We are both the parents. Everything concerning the kids are both of our responsibilities. There are times he does more and times I do more depending on work, school, and such. I don't consider him doing his responsibility as helping out. That makes it sound like he is doing a favor.

Yes, as much as possible when he work schedule allows. On weekend days that he isn't working, I get up to change and feed , and when he awake an hour later, he specifically tells me " you are off duty ". He works and loves on my 13 yr old from a previous relationship . They play vid games together, and keeps them both busy ,or takes the them both out as LO MUST. Be taken somewhere every day or no nap. I picked a knight in shining armor. Wouldn't trade him for the world
