Breathe regularly and try keeping as calm as possible. My own hubs in an airline pilot, so I am very familiar with the anxiety you're experiencing right now.

Just remember to breathe. I know it is easier said than done, but its what we gotta do. My DF is spost to inform me when he gets to work everyday. It is only a half hour drive and then hes in a building all day long, but on really bad winter mornings I freak when he forgets. I send a text every 10 minutes (it annoys the crap out of him but somehow it makes me feel better) until he responds. Even if the text is just an "i love you"
