SO and I had decided against celebrating the holiday but we both ended up surprising each other with little thoughtful gifts :) Truthfully, my favorite part was what he wrote inside the card <3 Now all that's left is to see what happens when the lights go out tonight ;)

My DH doesnt believe in Valentines day, although I've told him through the years that although yes, it is comercialized and silly, I would like to get something small!! Nope, got nothing again this year, although DH is cooking me dinner (he never cooks), I would still love to be one of those many women flaunting their gifts off...  =(

It's been a good day... got some errands run, got some stuff for a dessert that I was going to make today but am making tomorrow instead, rented movies and ordered pizza. (=

We don't celebrate V-day

We don't really celebrate except with DD. The 3 of us exchanged cards, and I helped DD make a special craft and I printed out a few love related activities and coloring sheets for her to use.

Despite not exchanging gifts or going out or anything, I still felt loved and appreciated and I'm certain DH did too.
