What kind of bird is that? I have been in the market for a bird (because I figure I might as well add to the zoo) and that one is cute. I wanted an African Grey but everyone says they are mean as hell.

He's a cockatiel. We had him since he was 4 mos old and he was exceptionaly sociable, interactive and affectionate from day one which is how we fellin love with him. I have had other people tell me they have cockatiels who want nothing to do with them and bite all the time. Ours is heavily socialized though, he spends 12 hours a day OUTside of his cage with us doig whatever he pleases and we dont clip his wings so he flies all around the house at will. Very spoiled : )
