Haha I am driving myself nuts just thinking about planning my wedding. Just want to hear from some married ladies what their weddings were like. :)

We had our wedding in a chapel. We were nervous having a lot of people watch us, so we just had family and close friends at our wedding. At the reception we had over one hundred people. We had six tables of food and a table for our cake. We had our reception in my sister's back yard. There was an open bar set up in the yard. We had a dance floor, that was filled up all night. The band was great. We got married on June 11, 1983, so we had what we now call classic rock. That's the best music ever. Everyone got to dress the way they wanted to, because it was in the yard, so they could either dress up or go casual, so they could have fun dancing. All night our guests ate, drank, danced and had a lot of fun.

It was an all outside wedding. Burlap and lace. Yellow and grey. More casual. Grooms.en in vest and ties no coats. Bridesmaids didn't match. I lived every minute. I did a lot of DIY! So fun. Omg so fun. We had yard games. Sparklers and Chinese lanterns! My professional photos are in the mail but I have a few snap shots

*edit * we used a musician that did impersonations! He was awesome! He had the crowd going omg. So fun!

Stop driving yourself nuts, in the long run it doesn't matter, just have fun with it! We went with a local band so the music would be fun and everyone would dance, no theme, but peach poinsettas, it was after thanksgiving. Our reception was a huge party that was a blast! My advise to all soon to be brides is don't sweat the small stuff.

We eloped.

We were married by a 16 year old who was ordained over the internet.  We were married at 18, in our friends grandparents living room and his grandparents were our witnesses. LOL

Yes, totally legit.

We'll be married for 10 years in July :)
