My fingers started swelling so I took my wedding rings off. My husband got pissed at me for taking them off and said we should just divorce????

Is he overreacting to my taking off the rings, even though I told him why I did it, or is there something more going on?

Sounds like he's overreacting. I take mine off all the time when I cook and clean. Maybe he was just joking around?

Wow! I think he is overreacting. I have mine off more than on and my husband is fine with it. He takes his off at work and sometimes at home when doing stuff. Could you put them on a chain and wear that to save a fight?

I take mine off to clean, wash my hair and sometimes cook just depending on what it is. My dh doesn't fuss or say a word. When I was pregnant my hands swelled bad so I took my rings off and just put them on a necklace I wore everyday. My dh felt so bad that I had to do that.

he is overreacting, when i was a kid, my mom had to take hers off (for about 10 years) because she gained weight

Sounds like he is really overreacting. I take mine off to cook and clean all the time. Maybe you should just ask him why he would say something like that.

YES!!! Thats is really OVERREACTING! I usually dont wear mine anymore because this is my 3rd set and I dont want to loose them again. My hubby was pissed when I lost them the 2nd time.  I keep them in a safe spot and wear them occasionally.
