Is anyone knowledgeable on if you use an investor to help fund your company what their rights are? I hope I make sense. My husband is thinking of using an investor to fund some of his company and would like to know what kind of rights they have.

It depends on the contract.

It all depends in the contract that is signed. Get a lawyer to look everything over first. It may cost money now but it could save you a lot of hassle later. And whatever you do do not be ok with a "verbal" agreement get EVERYTHING in writing and get it notorized.

you need legal advice from legal professionals. His company lawyers should know that.
