Since it is Valetines Day lets talk about the things that make us fall in love all over again with our S/O. What makes you just melt and fall in love over and over?

Hearing him talk with either of our sons, calmly. It isn't easy when they are 21 and 17! They know they can come to him, and he responds to them, explaining his reasoning, so that they understand and learn from his experiences. They are finally at the age that they appreciate his input. It took a long time coming! But hearing the patience in his voice is amazing.

If you are young, and this sounds silly to you, just wait and see. When your children are young adults, you'll get it.

He's an amazing father.

He works his ass off for us.

He's caring and sweet all the time.

He's just amazing.

On a sad note, we had to put my Beloved Fur Baby, my Toy Poodle down. He was never close with her; she was always very much my baby. But he held me as I cried hysterically, and he cried with me. He isn't an overly emotional man, so when he does cry, he means it. He hurt because I hurt, and that made me love him more.

On a happy note, he does little things all the time to make me fall in love all over again. Little notes, texts, calls or flowers just telling me he's thinking of me. Again, not an overly emotional man so those things mean a lot!

His hot voice, the way he walks, the way he always gives me affection.  He's interesting and sexy and that's how I fell in love.

The sacrifices he makes for us.
He's a grand gesture man so when he does something huge just to make me smile.
He's very compassionate but rarely shows that side....when he does I melt a little but I love the rough, tough, macho side of him too.  I prefer him to be that then sensitive all the time.  He's the perfect balance.
How patient he is with DD.

I just love everything about him and wish I could be more like him.
