I was curious if anyone used them, and if so what is your favorite site for buying them? I am trying to switch to cloth, and I think I am going with the pocket style, but so far haven't been able to find any used....hmmm.

I got mine at nickisdiapers.com. I am using Thirsties covers and prefols. With the covers I bought 4 but could have definitely got by with 2. And I have 2 dozen prefolds.

I use prefolds. I prefer Green Mountain Diapers' chinese unbleached. And I also *must* reccomend the Thirsties Duo wrap for covers. Good luck!

I really like the idea of the pockets, as they seem easiest...but a lot of moms like the prefolds...aren't they tricky? I mean all the folding, and snappis?(just learned about these, lol....no more pinning!)

You don't necessarily have to snappi or pin them.  It all depends.  We don't use prefolds regularly but since my son started solids, we usually just fold it in thirds and put it in a cover.

My first batch were pockets from eBay coolababy and they work fine. I have since added 20 more from whams. This should be enough to diaper my 16 month old and my new baby

Sorry didn't see your response.  I think it depends on the age of the child.  I will probably use a snappi with my newborn for a while because I will be exclusively breastfeeding.  Folding and using a snappi will make it easier to contain at least hopefully.  Once my first sone was on to solids, I didn't have to worry about those loose, explosive poops as much so I just folded the prefold and set it in there.  For the majority of his poops, except for when he was on antibiotics, I had no problems with leaking doing it that way.
