Do you do this? I will be doing this for the first time this week. Normally, I just plan our meals for what my husband wants (or want I want), but I am going to give it a try. Any tips/advice?

Take stock of what you've already got on hand first.  Then, see what you can make if you combine what you've got on hand with what is on sale.  Example:  You've got lasagna noodles, tomato sauce, and frozen ground beef.  Ricotta cheese and mozzarella cheese are both on sale.  You can make lasagna!

Yep, definitely see what you already have on hand and use the sales ad to add to the meals.

If the store has canned or frozen veggies on sale that is always a good staple side item.

I agree with the other ladies. This is how I save the most.

This was the first week I did it and I saved $25. $4 was from coupons from their website.

This, exactly!

I always shop based on the sales, it's a fun challenge.
