Organizing Spices

I have a lot of spices that I use but I need a better way of organizing them.  Right now, I have the bottles all on one shelf and it's hard to see them all.  I did make a list of what I have and I taped it to the cabinet door, but that really only helps me to know what I have and what I need.  I need some type of system that can help me easily find the spice I need.

So, share your spice organization tips!

I saw a cute idea where they had small glass bottles in a drawer and there was a label on top with what it was. I haven't been able to find the jars though.

At my old place there was a shelf on the inside of the cabinet door for the spices so it was easy access and you could read the label.

I use two lazy susans.  One for cooking spices and one for baking spices.

I like this idea of splitting them up!
I have one cupboard that is full of spices and is a huge mess. I'm sure some must be expired by now :)

I always had this problem too.  But my mother-in-law received a nice spice rack for a gift but already had one...so she gave it to me!  It is one of those tall spinning types.  It was full of spices...and the company that makes it will refill your spices for free for 5 years!  I signed up right away.

Look how cool this system is! It's a little too much money for me right now but that's a great idea!

But wait! I found the same idea cheaper:

I have two spice racks, one that hangs on the wall and one counter-top spinning one.  I also have some loose spices that don't fit on the racks and I put those in my pantry in a basket.
