I made this this morning and OMG. Unfortunately, I did not have maple or brown sugar. However, I did add cinnamon and butter while it was cooling and I must say that I am pleased. It came out a little water but that is because I kept substituting or taking away lol! I only added 3/4 cups of regular sugar because I was also feeding my 1 year old and dont need her bouncing off the walls lol. I was going to replace the maple with almond extract but I dont know if my 1 year old is allergic but a lot of others did do this in the reviews section.

It is so cinnamon-y (I know not a word lol) and so buttery!!! I love regular syrup but I think I will definitely be making my own when we are out of it and not rush to buy more!!
