This is my now 16 year old when he was 4, I was digging through my hope chest for the ribbons and am not finding them. I haven't seen them since the move, so they are most likely packed somewhere. Need to find them.

Here is the Doll this morning

And my son with the doll this morning, being a 16 year old teen, he was less than thrilled to hold his doll.

My husband and I always wanted to make dolls, and doll furniture. It's been awhile, but I made a porcelain doll that looks like my oldest son, and won son state ribbons. I haven't made porcelain dolls since I got married.

Dawn, porcelain dolls are beautiful!  Do you have a pic of the one that won the state ribbons?  I'd love to see it!

I don't have the drive to do so. I believe you have to be dedicated and passionate about what you do to be successful. Plus I wouldn't enjoy the financial instability until I got into the swing of things.

I wouldn't mind owning a bed and breakfast. I've thought about doing tutoring before too - that could be an interesting business to start (like a website to hire tutors in the area). Honestly though I'd never own my own business.

Both ideas are great!  Why wouldn't you own your own business?

Photography. I love photography, it's just so damn expensive for all the equipment. Especially a nice DSLR

My friend is a cosmetologist and I always wanted to open a one stop salon. Also I wanted to go to woman's shelters and offer pictures and Makeovers free.

What a great idea!

Thank you, I miss making dolls and working with ceramics. My husband proved yesterday there is no chance I can get back into it til the kids are grown.

My son did give me attitude this morning for having to smile for the picture, he has become so anti picture lately. Hope he outgrows this phase.

I would like to have a yarn and needlework shop.  I love to crochet, cross stitch and do needlepoint.
