Okay we are a family of 7 (5 little girls) we are also starting dave ramsey and doing really well with it actually this was our first month with a budget that we made last night. ANYTHING you can throw at me to save money . Here is our list.

Energy Light bulbs

running washer and dryer in off peak hours same for dishwasher

small-short baths and showers

getting on programs with gas and electric

going to find recipes for home products (if you have one please pass it this way)

we are going to do powdered Milk for Cereal in the morning before school. ( any breakfast ideas that save money for a large family)

Oh buying a sewing machine to make simple dresses

Thanks so much ladies.

All purpose cleaner
2c vinegar
2c water
5drops essential oil- optional
I use lavender and lemongrass most often

Pour all ingredients in a spray bottle.

Unless you coupon or get a great deal on cereal it is a waste of money.
Oatmeal, omelets, frittatas are more filling and tend to cost less.

Cook everything from scratch.

Meal plan
Plan all your weekly trips for the same day to save on gas and multiple trips.

Something I do is calling places like my light company, heat company and ask them about discount programs.

Pay cash for everything. You spend less when you physically see it leave.

We don't 'roll over' our money if we have anything left over between paychecks. It ALL goes into savings or the change jar (anything under $5)

Your welcome!! You can make them any kind you want too. Blueberry, cinnamon, chocolate chip, whatever. Enjoy!

Budget! Don't forget to include some fun stuff, redbox, popcorn, everyone has to have fun.
Stash your change - at the end of the week I dump all my change into a jar and take the rolled stuff to the bank.
Pay yourself first! If you don't, you'll make an excuse to not do it!
Reduce cable and "unnecessary" items if possible! We cut cable for 8 months and saved over $1000!
Cook from scratch, meal plan and coupon where you can. You don't need to go crazy, but try to start the CVS/Wags/Rite Aid game.
Cash in recycling if you can! We go for nightly walks and always pick up recycling. It's not going to make you rich but it's going to help!
Good luck!
